My current body of work explores childhood, memory, motherhood, and the small but meaningful moments memories captured in childhood. Through paintings, prints, and collaborative mark-making with my son, I aim to capture the honesty, spontaneity, and imaginative freedom that define early childhood. I am drawn to the raw, instinctive joy of a child’s creative process and seek to preserve that sense of wonder within my own practice. This new direction reflects a renewed appreciation for the magic found in everyday moments—dress-ups, play, storytelling, and the beautiful chaos of growing up—while celebrating the connection, creativity, and shared experiences at the heart of family life.
